Helping our customers

NDIS / DVA

NDIS - The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible people with a disability to gain more time with friends and family, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, and an improved quality of life.

Xtracare Equipment has been a registered provider with the NDIS since its rollout, working closely with clients, their families, therapists, and NDIS staff to help select the most suitable assistive technology for their needs. We offer a wide range of assistive devices, from basic daily living aids to more complex equipment. What we are best known for is our customised solutions, including: Manual wheelchairs / Power wheelchairs / Mobile shower chairs / Sports wheelchairs and equipment / Seating and positioning aids / Pressure management products / Paediatric rehabilitation and mobility products.

We have access to leading industry brands from around the world, but with no ties to any particular one. This enables us to help find the best equipment for each individual’s needs and lifestyle without bias. With a large range of products available, you can see and try the equipment we suggest before making a decision.

We are a South Australian family owned and run business with a team of staff who all share a passion to assist individuals living with complex needs. Our complex equipment team brings many years of practical experience and ongoing training to every client interaction. Their product knowledge and hands-on skills enable them to problem-solve and find solutions to even the most challenging situations.

Our equipment and seating clinic, along with our showroom and workshop, is located at:
622 Regency Rd, Broadview. Our carpark is accessible from Regency Road or Moresby Ave.

Having our workshop onsite allows us to perform all trials, manufacturing and modifications in one place, ensuring that everything is completed while you’re present. Additionally, we offer outreach clinics across the state and can complete prescriptions over the phone in consultation with a local therapist, particularly for clients in more remote locations.

DVA - Xtracare Equipment has been a trusted supplier of DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs) equipment since 2011, supporting healthcare providers and veterans across the state.

Through the RAP (Rehabilitation Appliances Program) we supply a large range of equipment to help our clients live safely and independently. We specialize in helping clients select the most appropriate products, ensuring proper fittings, and guiding them through the entire process. With a proven track record of collaboration with therapists and clients, we’re dedicated to achieving high levels of satisfaction with both the outcomes and the experience involved in getting there.

DVA - How it all works
